Administrator logs
What it shows
Open Journal -> Administrator logs. The log shows your team's sign-ins, sign-outs, profile changes and settings changes. Each row includes the time, staff name and email, action, browser, operating system and IP address. Timestamps and period boundaries use UTC.
The team log requires permission to view administrator logs. Your own history is available in My profile.
This example shows real sign-ins, sign-outs and a saved profile, ordered from newest to oldest.
Filters
| Field | What to select |
|---|---|
| Period | A preset or your own dates. |
| From (UTC), Through (UTC) | The first and last day, both inclusive. All available history can be searched, not just recent months. |
| Administrator ID | One staff member; leave blank for the whole team. |
| Category | For example, authentication, administrators or projects. |
| Search | A name, email or IP address. |
| Rows per page | 25, 50 or 100 entries. |
Press the circular-arrow button to apply changes. Reset restores the initial filters. This example selects Administrators, so sign-ins and sign-outs are no longer shown.
Action details
The button in the Data column opens the selected operation's details. It appears only when additional parameters were recorded. A saved profile, for example, includes the name. Passwords and access keys are not stored in these details.
An impersonated session also identifies the administrator who started that session.
Pages and refresh
Use Previous and Next to browse the selected results. New actions do not shift the entries while you browse later pages. Press refresh for the current list. If results have changed or the view has remained open too long, the log asks you to refresh it.
New actions can take a short time to appear. An unavailable log shows an error rather than an empty result.
No matches
An empty result means no entries match your filters. Remove unnecessary filters or expand the period. This search for an absent name shows an empty result without paging buttons.
