Settings

Settings determine who participates, which period contributes to progress, and what happens after a period ends or a payment is reversed. Select the structure and audience first, then choose the progress mode and configure its conditional fields.

Base configuration

Display structure selects grouped tiers with sublevels or standalone ranks. Benefit inheritance determines whether reached levels accumulate or only the current level applies.

The example below uses grouped tiers, a personal cycle, and manually assigned members.

Audience

Every player

Choose Every player to calculate VIP automatically for all players in the project. This example uses standalone ranks.

Player segment

A segment can restrict participation by registration date, region, game server, and active period. A player must match every configured condition.

Invited players

Choose Invited players when only players who joined through an invitation should participate.

Progress periods

Lifetime

Confirmed progress accumulates without a periodic reset. Use this for a permanent loyalty program based on the player's total contribution.

Personal cycle

The cycle starts with the player's first confirmed top-up and lasts for the configured number of days. A freeze period can follow it; a top-up during the freeze starts a new cycle and carries over the configured share of previous progress.

Calendar month

Progress is counted from the first through the last day of the month. The selected time zone determines the exact boundary.

Rolling window

Only top-ups within the configured number of recent days are counted. Each top-up stops contributing separately when it leaves the window.

Season

Progress is counted between the configured season start and end. The selected time zone determines both boundaries.

Lifetime progress can run alongside a periodic mode. Resulting level selects the primary result, lifetime result, or the higher of the two.

Downgrades, reversals, and rewards

Refund and chargeback policies can recalculate immediately, retain the level until period end, apply a grace period, downgrade step by step, or require manual review. Permanent delivered items remain available, while temporary benefits and limits are recalculated.

Feature switches

  • Program enabled starts level and benefit calculation.
  • Level rewards enabled allows rewards to be delivered when a level is reached.
  • Analytics enabled adds anonymous program metrics to analytics.
