Attachments
General rules
Administrators configure:
- whether attachments are enabled;
- maximum size per file;
- maximum file count;
- allowed MIME types.
Players see the configured limits in the message form.
Storage provider
| Storage | Recommended use | Required settings |
|---|---|---|
| Local | One managed cabinet node or shared filesystem | Public HTTPS cabinet URL |
| S3-compatible | Amazon S3, MinIO, or compatible object storage | Endpoint, region, bucket, prefix, access key, secret key, path-style mode |
| Chevereto | A separate local or hosted Chevereto installation | HTTPS API URL and API key |
Use a project-specific prefix for S3 when needed. Enable path-style only when the compatible storage requires it.
Player upload
Select files in the message form, check the preview, then submit. Attachments appear with the message. Unsent files are cleaned up automatically.
Viewing attachments
Open an image from its message to view it. If a link stops working, open the attachment from the ticket again. When external storage is temporarily unavailable, retry later: the uploaded file is not deleted.
Storage verification
- Upload an allowed image and submit the ticket.
- Open the preview and original in the player cabinet.
- Open the attachment as an authorized staff member.
- Check that the configured size, count and file-type limits suit player requests.
