Game servers

A game server provides characters, inventory, online status, and game operations. Create a separate record for every project server and connect it to a login server.

List

Open Projects -> Game servers to review status, server build, rates, and available actions.

The ON status means that the server is enabled by an administrator. Connection health is tracked separately:

  • Not checked - the first check after creation or a connection change has not completed yet;
  • Available - the latest automatic game database check succeeded;
  • Unavailable - the connection failed. The panel schedules the next check automatically.

After repeated failures, the retry interval increases from 5 minutes to 1 hour. A recovered server automatically returns to Available. A network failure does not disable the server or change project settings.

Create

Click Add game server, select the game, and complete the required settings for the new server.

General settings

On the General tab, configure the name, status, rates, login server, and supported server library. The selected library controls available operations and optional tabs. Save the record after completing the required fields.

Tabs stay in a single row. To reveal a hidden tab, use the arrows at the edges or drag the tab bar with your mouse. On a phone, swipe across the tab bar.

Database

Enter the driver, host, database, dedicated user, and password. Credentials shown in the screenshots are documentation-only examples.

Ports

Enter the game IP and port. Configure a separate Cached address and port when the server build uses it.

Rating

Choose the tables visible to players and the size of each leaderboard. Off hides a table entirely. World statistics, chart series and additional sections have separate controls, including summaries, character distributions, search, comparison and history.

Disable the corresponding chart series to hide character or clan counts from the chart. The general summary and character leaderboards are controlled separately. Save the settings; the new selection applies when a player next opens statistics. See the before-and-after visibility examples for the settings and player view.

Online

Choose an online source and polling configuration supported by the server build without adding unnecessary database load.

When emulation is enabled, the published count is (actual online + fixed offset) × multiplier, rounded down. Disabling emulation publishes the actual count. Changed settings apply to subsequent observations; retained history is not recalculated.

The home page shows published counts, measurement times and freshness. It keeps the last received value until a new observation arrives. Missing data does not mean zero players or an offline server. See Server statistics API when building a custom template.

Capabilities

Enable only operations implemented by the selected server library, including character, inventory, warehouse, and other game functions.

Connection check

The connection action checks the database, game port, and Cached when enabled. Its result immediately updates the shared server connection state. No manual error reset is required: health state and retries are managed automatically.

Changing database credentials, addresses, or ports clears the previous backoff and schedules the next automatic check immediately. The manual ON/OFF state is not changed.

After a successful check, add the server to the project and wait for automatic client configuration delivery.
