Promo Games
A promo game stores a reward pool and the rules used to select rewards. It can power a registration welcome draw, a dedicated promotion page, a launcher event, or another connected flow. A single play selects one reward from every configured group.
The promo game opens on a dedicated public campaign page without adding another player-cabinet menu item. The same campaign can be linked from a news post, launcher, or in-game event.
How promo games differ from cases and the lucky wheel
| Mechanic | Who starts it | What the player sees | VIP attempts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cases | The player opens a selected case | The case page, price, possible rewards, and result | A separate case-attempt allowance |
| Lucky wheel | The player starts a spin | The wheel, price, result, and win history | A separate wheel-attempt allowance |
| Promo game | A new player on the campaign page | Terms, reward groups, and chances, followed by warehouse items | Does not consume case or wheel attempts |
The VIP benefit Additional wheel and case attempts does not launch a promo game. It only allows the configured number of paid case openings or wheel spins without charging the balance. Using a case attempt does not reduce the wheel allowance, and vice versa.
What happens during one play
- The player opens the public campaign page and starts registration.
- The campaign identifier is submitted with registration; the browser never submits item IDs or probabilities.
- After successful registration, one reward is selected independently from each group using the saved configuration.
- The selected rewards enter the delivery queue and are placed in the player's warehouse.
- The player transfers the items to an account or character through the normal warehouse flow.
A new master account can participate in a campaign once. Retrying a delivery does not duplicate items.
Campaign page
The public URL uses the /promo/{ID} format. Before registration, the page shows the server, campaign limit, independent groups, possible rewards, and their chances. The browser does not select the result; selection happens after the account is created successfully.
On mobile, reward cards switch to one column while preserving each reward's name, quantity, and chance.
Administrator panel
Before you start
Make sure the project and game server are enabled. Prepare the item IDs, quantities, enchant levels, and reward images. Define the probability for each group in advance: the total must equal 100%.
Promo game list
Open Add-ons -> Promo Games. The table shows the name, game server, project, prize limit, and creation date. Click a name to edit the configuration or use search to find a specific reward pool.
Create a promo game
Click Create and complete the main fields:
- Enter a clear giveaway name.
- Select the project and game server that will receive the rewards.
- Set the prize count used by the connected flow as the draw's upper bound.
- Add the items and organize them into groups.
Reward fields
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Group | Combines alternative rewards. One item is selected from each group. |
| Item ID | The item identifier used by the game server build. |
| Quantity | The number of items in one delivery. |
| Enchant | The enchant level for platforms that support it. |
| Name | A readable name used in the panel and test results. |
| Image | A path or HTTPS URL to the item image. The upload button stores a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file in the selected project and shows its preview immediately. |
| Chance | The probability of selecting the item within its group. |
The summary above the list is recalculated whenever a group or chance changes. Save the reward pool only when every group shows 100%.
Worked example
Create a promo game named New Player Reward with two groups.
| Group | Reward | Chance | Group result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 500,000 Adena | 60% | One of the three rewards is selected |
| 1 | 20 Soulshot Tickets | 25% | One of the three rewards is selected |
| 1 | 100 L-Coin | 15% | One of the three rewards is selected |
| 2 | Beginner Scroll | 100% | Delivered on every play |
The player does not receive every row in group 1. One play might award 500,000 Adena from group 1 and the guaranteed Beginner Scroll from group 2. Another player might receive 100 L-Coin together with the same scroll.
Use groups for independent parts of a reward bundle. Put alternative rewards in one group, and place a guaranteed extra item in a separate group containing one row with a 100% chance.
Edit a promo game
Open a promo game by clicking its name. You can change the project, server, limit, and reward pool. Moving an existing game to another server changes where future rewards are delivered, so verify the integration with a test account first.
Verify the probabilities
Open a saved promo game and click Test game. The panel runs 1,000 simulations and shows the following values for every item:
- configured chance;
- observed simulation result;
- number of wins;
- reward group.
A small difference between the configured chance and the observed result is expected. If the difference is large, run the test again and confirm that every group totals 100%.
Launch the promotion
After saving, update the installed client configuration and open /promo/{ID}. Register a test player from the campaign page and verify the selected rewards in the player's warehouse.
Before publishing, verify that:
- the flow uses the intended promo game, project, and server;
- every group's probabilities total 100%;
- one play selects only one reward from each group;
- quantities, enchant levels, and images match the configuration;
- retrying one participation does not create a second delivery;
- the player can review the terms and possible rewards before registration;
- a temporary delivery failure is retried automatically without creating duplicates.
Delete a promo game only after disabling every flow that uses its identifier.
