One-Click Updates
MMO-DEV WEB checks for new versions from the local client admin and installs them without manual file replacement.
Before updating
Make sure the site is enrolled with the project, create a current database and file backup, verify the required PHP version, and check available disk space. The web server user must be able to write the application files required by the updater.
Running an update
- Open the local client admin.
- Go to System update.
- Review the version, requirements, and changelog.
- Click Start update.
- Keep the page open until migrations and data rebuild finish.
Only one update can run for an installation at a time. If another administrative session is already updating the site, wait for it to finish. A stalled lock expires automatically after a period without activity.
The package is authorized for the enrolled installation. Before extraction, the client verifies the HTTPS origin, archive checksum, MMO-DEV WEB digital signature, and every packaged file. Unsigned, modified, or extra files are rejected automatically. A normal update preserves local configuration and installation-owned data.
The full installer and one-click update package come from the same verified build. Project administrators do not need to manage signing keys or verify archives manually.
Automatic checks
The client periodically checks for a new version and notifies an administrator. Installation still requires confirmation so that backup and maintenance timing remain under administrator control.
If signature verification fails, do not extract the archive manually. Download it again from the panel and contact support if the error persists.
If update access is lost
If internal_data or the protected identity file was deleted, the public site continues to work with its current settings, but client updates and delivery of new project settings require enrollment again. Revoke the old installation in the project card, generate a new one-time code, and enter it in the local client admin update page.
Do not copy one installation identity to two live sites. Enroll each installation separately.
