Mail servers

An SMTP profile sends registration confirmations, password recovery, security codes, and service notifications. Use a dedicated sender on a verified domain.

  1. Open Settings -> Mail servers, review existing profiles, and click Add.
  1. Enter a profile name, SMTP host, port, encryption, username, and password.
  2. Enter the sender address and sender name, then save.

Open the saved profile, verify the sender, and click Test connection. The test message is sent through the profile currently being edited rather than the application's global mail settings. Leave the password blank while editing to keep the configured secret.

Assign the profile to a project, then test registration, password recovery, and service notifications. SMTP handles message delivery only. SendPulse contact synchronization is configured separately under Marketing -> Integrations.

If delivery fails, check spam, SMTP credentials, the allowed From address, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and the provider delivery log.
